Vancouver-based fintech FISPAN has partnered with BMO to launch BMO Sync, a first-of-its-kind solution in Canada that integrates BMO Online Banking for Business directly into Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and accounting systems such as QuickBooks Online and Sage Intacct.
BMO Sync allows businesses to automate payments, streamline workflows, and gain real-time cash flow visibility—all within their existing financial platforms. The solution eliminates the need for manual file uploads, accelerates payment processing, and enhances reconciliation with automatic bank feeds. Onboarding takes less than 30 minutes, making it an accessible tool for businesses looking to improve efficiency.
“Leading financial institutions are recognizing embedded banking as a cornerstone of their treasury services roadmap,” said Lisa Shields, CEO of FISPAN. “We are thrilled to be working with BMO to help their clients efficiently manage their working capital.”
The launch aligns with BMO’s Digital First strategy, which aims to embed banking services within clients’ systems to save time and reduce errors. “Because [FISPAN’s] open architecture simplifies and expedites direct integration with ERP systems, we were able to build and deliver BMO Sync to our clients in record time,” said Gurreet Sidhu, CIO, Treasury and Payment Solutions at BMO.
BMO Sync is now available to BMO Online Banking for Business clients in Canada and the U.S., providing a seamless banking experience within leading ERP and accounting platforms.
