Vancouver Fintech INETCO Unveils Chief of Product to Help Safeguard Payments

September 2, 2025 by Knowlton Thomas Leave a Comment

This month, Vancouver-based financial technology innovator INETCO announced the appointment of a new chief product officer.

INETCO has welcomed cybersecurity veteran Eren Ramdhani as chief of product.

Ramdhani boasts two decades of expertise in information security, digital fraud prevention, and enterprise technology strategy. Most recently, he served as a Senior Manager at IBM South Africa.

“Eren’s deep understanding of financial services security and his ability to shape transformational product strategies will be pivotal as we continue to strengthen our global leadership in real-time fraud detection and prevention,” says Bijan Sanii, founder of INETCO.

“We are confident his appointment will be a defining milestone in our journey,” the CEO stated, “and couldn’t be more delighted to welcome Eren into the INETCO family.”

INETCO is a member of the BC Tech Association.

BC Tech is the largest member-led technology non-profit in British Columbia, and we’re dedicated to turning startups and scaleups into the anchor companies of tomorrow. Our work supports members to grow and diversify their talent pool, acquire new customers, access capital and accelerate their scaleup journey. Ramdhani describes INETCO’s real-time transaction monitoring and fraud prevention solutions as “game-changers from a company that doesn’t just anticipate the future of cybersecurity, but actively shapes it.”

“You can’t hide from network traffic, and that’s something INETCO understands on a fundamental level,” the product officer said. “I’m honoured to join the team, and look forward to helping drive its impact and safeguard the world’s most critical payment environments.”

Monitoring more than 60 billion transactions annually, INETCO is a trusted choice for financial institutions and payment service providers worldwide to deliver reliability and security through AI-driven behavioural modelling and real-time fraud prevention technologies.

As fraud rates South Africa soar upward, for example, INETCO is powering African Bank’s shift to AI-driven fraud prevention through its BullzAI platform.

BullzAI provides real-time monitoring across banking channels, featuring continuously self-training machine learning models and a patented AI-powered firewall that blocks fraud attempts before they complete. Other protections include detection of mule fraud, BIN attacks, and account takeovers, supported by data such as SIM swap records and KYC information.

“This additional layer of fraud prevention allows us to match our digital growth with world class protection,” Darryl Adriaanzen, Group Chief Operating Officer at African Bank, commented earlier this month. “We’ve shifted from a reactive model to a proactive AI-driven strategy that enables us to detect and block increasingly sophisticated and unknown fraud patterns in real-time.”
