North Vancouver’s Jane Software has closed a $2 million growth capital financing round with CIBC Innovation Banking.
Jane is a practice management software based used by practitioners in a variety of health care disciplines including physiotherapists, massage therapists, chiropractors, acupuncturists and counsellors.
Jane offers a secure, cloud-based platform to perform online booking, charting, scheduling and invoicing.
To date, Jane has received significant accolades including second place in the BC New Ventures Competition in 2016, acceptance to BC Tech’s Hypergrowth Program in 2017, and being named Ready to Rocket in 2018.
“We have been so impressed by the CIBC team and their thoughtful understanding of Jane as a SaaS business throughout the funding process. We are thrilled to be working with them as we continue to expand Jane’s team and platform here in Canada and around the world,” said Alison Taylor, Co-CEO of Jane Software.
“This $2 million line will allow Jane to experiment with new growth strategies on an accelerated timeline from our currently self-funded expansion. We honestly couldn’t be more excited about 2019 and how CIBC will support us in the coming years,” added Taylor.
Jane Software was founded in 2012 by Co-CEOs Alison Taylor and Trevor Johnston.
