Vancouver has new player in the wearable tech pool.
Sports technology startup Form Swim has developed a pair of swim goggles that allow athletes to view performance metrics underwater while competing. The goggles use a see-through augmented reality display that can show you how you are doing in a timed race in real time.
Developed over the past four years in collaboration with top competitive swimmers and coaches, the Form Swim Goggles promise to make training smarter, more purposeful, and more engaging for swimmers of all levels.
Form was founded by Dan Eisenhardt, who previously sold Recon Instruments to Intel in 2015.
The new goggles will be available for purchase on August 7th for $200.
