Vancouver is a hotbed in the fintech sector across wide diversity of sub-verticals including blockchain, capital markets, insurance, payments, and finance.
Last week the Digital Finance Institute released its top 50 Fintech companies in Canada for 2019 and the list features Bench, Fundrazr, Mogo, Wealthbar, among other Vancouver startups.
August’s special guest for a fireside chat with Angelist Canada’s Alex Norman is Henrique Dubugras, the Founder & Co-CEO of Brex.
Dubugras started Brex as a 22-year old and built it into a billion-dollar business. Brex has raised over $380 million in venture capital to create the first corporate credit card for startups, tech, and online brands.
