Finger Food Advanced Technology Group has been awarded up to $3.2 million from the Opportunity Calgary Investment Fund to create at least 200 new jobs in downtown Calgary.
Port Coquitlam’s Finger Food provides enterprise technology solutions including virtual reality, blockchain, wearable technologies and robotics to global clients such as Disney, Lego, Electronic Arts and Lowe’s.
The $100-million Opportunity Calgary Investment Fund was established by city council in 2018 for the purpose of investing in private, public and not-for-profit initiatives that promise to create jobs and stimulate the economy.
Calgary Economic Development made the announcement Wednesday at the Energy Disruptors conference in Calgary.
