PocketPills has announced a strategic partnership with myHSA, an employee benefits platform distributed through advisors, MGAs, TPAs, and insurance providers. The partnership will bring online access to medication to myHSA’s 10,000+ Canadian employer and advisor clients.
Headquartered in Surrey, PocketPills is Canada’s first full-service digital pharmacy that allows patients to fill their prescriptions online, with free delivery of medications directly to their door.
myHSA is a software program for advisors and HR professionals that facilitates employee benefits. Their platform allows employees to manage their health benefits via an app or online and provides clients with the flexibility to build individualized benefits plans using insurance, self-insurance, and other unique products.
The first-of-its-kind integration will allow myHSA plan sponsors and their members to fill their prescriptions through PocketPills, and for the first time, benefit from direct billing to their health spending account instead of submitting a receipt for reimbursement.
“During these unprecedented times, it’s more important than ever for Canadians to have easy access to medication, without ever needing to leave their homes,” said Harj Samra, Co-Founder of PocketPills. “We’re thrilled to be partnering with myHSA to provide their network with doorstep delivery of medication and virtual access to pharmacists.”
“This new strategic partnership with PocketPills will enhance both the digital experience and accessibility to health care for our plan members, by allowing them to alleviate trips to the pharmacy and receive medicine delivered to their door without “paying out of pocket,” said Tim Kane, CEO of myHSA. “PocketPills is truly a leap forward in the benefits world, especially given our current climate.”
With PocketPills, patients can speak with a pharmacist at their convenience via live chat or SMS. PocketPills makes medication management simple, with prescription doses pre-sorted by date and time into easy-to-use PocketPacks.
