Clearly Payments Wants To Be The Friendliest Payment Processor On Earth

June 10, 2020 by Robert Lewis

Canada has a new player in the payments space and they want to be “the friendliest payment processor on Earth”.

Not a bad goal for an industry that is rife with hidden fees and small print.

Vancouver’s Clearly Payments is on a mission to drive down the cost of accepting payments and are committed to radical transparency. The payments upstart provides end-to-end payment processing solutions to software vendors, to organizations looking to offer payments to merchants, and directly to medium/large businesses.

Clearly Payments is being led by three payments veterans from Payfirma—Chris Farmer, Kalle Radage, and Ben Yua—who are eager to disrupt the payments space.

To do that Clearly Payments recently introduced a membership pricing option alongside their cost-plus pricing model, believed to be a first in Canada and among the first in North America to offer subscription style pricing in the payments space.

By becoming a member of Clearly Payments, customers get access to wholesale credit card processing rates for a fixed, predictable fee of $99/month, helping them save money and time by not having to negotiate credit card processing fees.

Looks like Clearly Payments is making good on their mission to drive down the cost of accepting payments in the most transparent way possible.
