Pocket Gamer has published their Top 50 Mobile Game Makers list and a Vancouver game developer is in the mix.
Now in its 11th year, the list is the who’s who of the mobile games industry and East Side Games claimed spot #47.
“Carving out a niche in the crowded mobile market is a pretty smart move, and it certainly seems to be paying off for narrative-led idle game developer East Side Games”, writes Pocket Gamer.
The studio has clearly caught the eye of television executives following its success with Trailer Park Boys, securing games based on It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia and The Goldbergs.
ESG is the ‘proudly’ independent studio founded by Jason Bailey and Josh Nilson in 2011.
ESG was recently announced as the winner in the first ever BC Business “Business of Good Awards” in the Indigenous Prosperity category, and Nilson is currently a finalist for Person of the Year in BC Tech’s 2020 Technology Impact Awards.
