There’s a new solution for those who struggle with waking up too hot and it all started with two tired dads.

In 2018, Jason Elliott had had enough of consistently interrupted sleep due to his mattress always feeling too hot and throwing off the blankets in frustration. After searching for a solution, Jason found there are plenty of cooling mattress toppers out there made of fancy foam or with aeration, but these just don’t work and provide little to no customization for temperature preferences. The Snug Topper is an air-conditioned mattress topper designed to keep you at your perfect temperature all night long. There are small, quiet fans located in the foot end corners of each sleep zone that pull cool air from the foot of the bed and gently circulate it under and around the sleeper’s body. Once the sleeper has set their temperature preferences, a network of temperature sensors in the sleep surface sense the sleeper’s body temperature and automatically adjust the airflow.

For those that need a little extra heat when they first go to bed or during the night, the Snug Topper has an integrated heating element that is distributed below the sleep surface. This low power and ultra safe heating system is used to preheat the sleep surface on a configurable schedule so uncomfortable cold feet won’t hinder you from falling to sleep. Similar to the cooling system, the topper automatically controls the amount of heat based on your sensed body temperature and set preferences so you won’t go to sleep or wake up cold in the night.

If you disagree with your partner on the temperature of your bedroom, the Snug Topper cleverly provides separate temperature controls and settings for each sleeper. The hot sleeper can enjoy gentle airflow and the cold sleeper can have warm feet. No more opening the window, turning on a fan or fighting over the thermostat.
