TiE Vancouver is hosting a fireside chat with local angel investing pioneer Norm Francis on June 22nd.
In conversation with Maninder Dhaliwal, chair of TiE Vancouver Angels, Francis will be speaking about building startups and fundraising.
Francis was the founder of Pivotal Software – the company that invented the concept of 360-degree customer relationship management (CRM), a concept that continues to be used today. Francis is a Computer Science graduate from UBC and a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Canada.
Francis’ many accolades include BC Technology Industry Person of the Year, Software Entrepreneur of the Year Pacific Region by E&Y, Business Laureates of BC Hall of Fame, and one of the most influential people in the development of the CRM industry by CRM Magazine.
His investments include Allocadia, D-Wave, Klue, Traction on Demand, Zymeworks, and most recently Stoko.
