June 29, 2021 by Robert Lewis Leave a Comment

After a year of embracing remote work, Canadians are flocking to Vancouver to enjoy the benefits of life on the coast.

The increase in Canadians moving for remote jobs, affordable living and ultimately, a change in post-pandemic lifestyle is highlighted in LinkedIn’s first-ever Workforce Report for Canada, which looked at the internal migration trends of Canadians over the pandemic.

The metro area in and around Vancouver is one of the biggest gainers of internal migration with a 10.5% increase in residents since April 2020.

The metro areas in and around Montreal (-21%) and Greater Toronto (-12.2) have seen a higher exit of residents since April 2020.

Check out the complete report online.
