Vancouver’s Streamline Athletes has acquired The Stride Report, a site that provides NCAA track/cross-country rankings, projections, and analysis. The acquisition comes after The Stride Report ceased operations in June 2021.
The acquisition means that The Stride Report will be able to immediately return to covering collegiate distance running via articles, podcasts, rankings, and projections.
With added support and resources from Streamline Athletes, The Stride Report founder and editor-in-chief, Garrett Zatlin, will move into a full-time role.
“By adding The Stride Report to the Streamline Athletes family, we’ll be able to not only help high schoolers with their college recruitment, but also give them and their families a place to stay connected through their time at university,” says Alexandre Paré, founder and co-CEO at Streamline Athletes.
“No one covers collegiate distance running to the standard that The Stride Report does and we can’t wait to see Garrett accelerate his analysis under the Streamline Athletes banner,” adds Brett Montrose, also founder and co-CEO at Streamline Athletes.
“This acquisition is everything that we’ve been working towards at The Stride Report,” says Zatlin. “Being able to leverage Streamline Athletes’ assets and resources gives us a chance to reach the next level.”
Founded by former collegiate track and field athletes, Streamline Athletes is a data-driven sports recruitment platform that democratizes access to education and sport for student-athletes, while also providing collegiate coaches with a more affordable and efficient recruitment process than ever before.
Alumni of the New Ventures BC Competition, Streamline Athletes is currently raising its seed investment round.
