Collision, the fastest growing technology event in North America, is coming to Vancouver next week.
In the lead-up to the Collision Conference on June 20-23 select cities across Canada will be hosting Countdown to Collision events with the Vancouver edition taking place in the Fairmont Waterfront on April 27th from 6-9pm.
Speakers on the night include Arthur Camara, co-founder of Dapper Labs – a major Vancouver success story; and Trung Phan, co-host of the Not Investment Advice podcast. Collision co-hosts Sunil Sharma and Casey Lau will be in attendance to MC the event.
Camara was part of the founding team at Dapper Labs where he co-created CryptoKitties, the genesis project in the world of Non-Fungible Tokens (NFTs). He currently leads product for NBA Top Shot at Dapper Labs, a company now valued at US$7.6 billion. Arthur will be talking about how it all started in Vancouver and where Web3 is going.
Phan is co-host of the Not Investment Advice podcast. He also writes on tech for Bloomberg Opinion and the SatPost newsletter. Previously, he spent a decade in finance and sold a comedy film script to Fox.
Collision will be the largest international gathering in the city of Toronto in more than two years. 33,000-plus attendees are expected to convene at the Enercare Centre from June 20–23.
