Dapper Labs is gaining an asset.
Nick Grudin heads to the Vancouver-based digital collectibles startup to take on the role of chief business officer. Gruden served 12 years at Facebook, where we was most recently vice president of content and community partnerships at Meta.
“We’re grateful for Nick’s contributions over the last 12 years and we wish him well in his future endeavors,” a Meta spokesperson stated to Variety. “Through his leadership, the content and community partnerships team is well positioned to innovate for years to come.”
At Dapper, Gruden will be responsible for partnerships and developer experience across the startup’s portfolio, which includes the Dapper wallet and Flow blockchain.
“It’s an honour to join the Dapper Labs team,” Grudin stated. “As the industry-leader in mainstream adoption of decentralized technologies, I’m excited to be part of the company’s next chapter as we bring the benefits of blockchain to the first billion people.”
“Nick will help us to further accelerate our goal to bring the first billion people to the blockchain,” Dapper CEO Roham Gharegozlou said.
“I share a similar vision for blockchain & can’t wait to work with the team to put a crypto wallet in every pocket,” Grudin affirmed.
Mik Nayeem, former CBO, will now serve as president.
Dapper Labs was founded in Vancouver in 2018 and is one of BC’s crypto startups to watch. The company’s current partners include the NFL, NBPA, LaLiga, Warner Music Group, Ubisoft, and UFC.
