Silicon Valley-born Plug and Play is expanding across Canada and have British Columbia in their scope.

To kick off their plans in Vancouver, the global innovation platform is hosting their first event in the city bringing together industry leading startups, major corporations looking to innovate, the government, and investors to build collaboration within the local innovation ecosystem.

Vancouver Innovation Day takes place on Friday, December 3rd at TELUS Garden and will feature an opening keynote from Trulioo co-founder Tanis Jorge.

Vancouver-born Trulioo raised a $394 million Series D funding round at $1.75 billion valuation in 2021, joining the city’s growing stable of unicorns. Jorge co-founded Trulioo with Stephen Ufford in 2011.

The FREE event will include pitches from 12+ startups including Vancouver’s own Moment Energy and Dyne.
