OpsGuru guides organizations through digital transformation journeys with technical expertise, service, and partnerships.
“We live and breathe cloud technology, helping customers focus on their business objectives by relieving them of the mystification of the cloud,” the company says. “We focus on solutions such as cloud adoption, application modernization, Kubernetes enablement, managed cloud operations, cloud security, and data analytics services.”
One day after being named Canada’s AWS Consulting Partner of the Year in 2021, Vancouver’s OpsGuru was acquired by Toronto-based managed cloud hosting service provider Carbon60.
This month, the BC-born firm announced it has signed an expanded multi-year strategic collaboration agreement with Amazon Web Services.
“This expanded agreement is a natural next step for OpsGuru’s long-standing collaboration with AWS,” stated John Witte, CEO of Carbon60, recently.
The agreement builds on OpsGuru’s existing AWS expertise and “further allows the organization to accelerate digital transformation initiatives for the benefit of Canadian companies,” according to a statement from the company.
“For years, OpsGuru and AWS have collaboratively empowered Canadian companies to navigate their cloud transformation with impactful results,” explains Witte. “With this agreement in place, OpsGuru is excited to deliver even more AWS customer-centric solutions to existing and new customers, tailored to support their unique business goals.”
As an AWS Premier Tier Service Partner in the AWS Partner Network, OpsGuru is continuously adding to its key AWS competencies, says Witte.
“OpsGuru is a trusted member of the AWS Partner Network and we are pleased to expand our relationship through this strategic collaboration,” noted Eric Gales, Canada Country Manager at AWS.
The company holds five AWS competencies: Migration Consulting Competency, SaaS Consulting Competency, DevOps Consulting Competency, Networking Consulting Competency, and Microsoft Workloads Consulting Competency.
“AWS and OpsGuru share a commitment to empower Canadian companies in their cloud strategies and digital transformation journeys,” added Gales. “By expanding our agreement, we are giving customers a broader range of capabilities and offerings to accelerate their transitions to the cloud and drive innovation in Canada.”
OpsGuru was founded in Vancouver in 2018.
