MintList, QUIL, and VodaSafe Are Finalists At The Odlum Brown Forum Pitch

April 10, 2023 by Robert Lewis Leave a Comment

The Forum is a Canadian charity that mentors, educates and empowers women entrepreneurs. For 20 years they’ve been supporting businesses big and small.

Now in its 7th year, The Odlum Brown Forum Pitch is a program that helps women entrepreneurs navigate and fast track their funding journey.

Addressing the barrier of access to capital, The Forum Pitch gives women entrepreneurs 1:1 mentorship and access to specialized resources so they can share their business visions with confidence and secure the funding, community, and support they need for growth.

The three startups pitching on stage this year are MintList, QUIL, and VodaSafe.

MintList wants to revolutionize the auto sales industry for both consumers and dealers. Previously known as TrafficDriven, they raised a seed round last year. Representing MintList on stage will be c-founder and COO Mehrsa Raeiszadeh

QUIL is on a mission to make e-commerce logistics more sustainable by providing consumers with the option to choose reusable and returnable packaging when shopping at their favourite Canadian brands. Representing QUIL on stage will be co-founders Mehwish Panjwani and Kelly Thomson.

VodaSafe is the maker of AquaEye, a hand-held sonar device that uses the latest ultrasound and artificial intelligence technologies to provide record-breaking water rescue response. It counts Whistler Search & Rescue among its advocates. Representing VodaSafe on stage will be founder and CEO Carlyn Loncaric.

Whether you’re an aspiring entrepreneur, looking for inspiration as you scale your business, or just want to hear from these amazing leaders, this is an event you won’t want to miss.

Last year Vancouver’s own Pocketed (pictured) walked away with the $25,000 prize. Pocketed has created an intelligent matching platform and marketplace to connect businesses to billions of dollars in grants and tax credits.

Register online now to attend the The Odlum Brown Forum Pitch Finale on April 27th at the Fairmont Hotel Vancouver.
