The Science Fair Foundation has announced the finalists from BC and the Yukon for the 2023 Canada-Wide Science Fair (CWSF), and the competition is heating up.
Hundreds of students across the two provinces participated in regional fairs creating innovative projects to compete for numerous provincial awards and a chance to participate at the national fair.
From tackling climate change to developing cutting-edge medical technologies, the projects cover a wide range of scientific disciplines and promise to showcase the top young scientific talent in the country.
56 finalists from 12 regions have been selected to compete nationally, and these bright young minds have poured their hearts and souls into creating projects that challenge the limits of science and technology.
The Canada-Wide Science Fair will be held in Edmonton from May 14-19, 2023.
