ProShop ERP, a software solution innovator for precision manufacturing companies, has secured a significant investment from Mainsail Partners, a growth equity firm with a track record in scaling vertical enterprise resource planning software companies.
The recently announced investment round, totaling $32 million, will help propel ProShop ERP’s product development and enhance existing services.
Developed in Vancouver, ProShop ERP’s software is specifically designed to assist manufacturers operating in regulated industries such as defense, aerospace, medical, and space. Clients use ProShop ERP with the goal of improving their everyday operations, streamlining processes such as on-time delivery, shop throughput, and quoting. This comprehensive software solution supports clients’ initiatives to transition from paper-based workflows to a paperless environment.
In response to the substantial financial backing, ProShop CEO Kelsey Heikoop expressed his excitement about the partnership with Mainsail Partners.
“We believe this partnership will enable us to do an even better job of serving more companies with our market-leading products and service,” the cofounder stated. “This work is very meaningful to our clients and team, so we couldn’t be more excited to take ProShop to the next level by partnering with Mainsail.”
Echoing these sentiments, ProShop cofounder Paul Van Metre spoke about the company’s seven-year journey as a founder-financed enterprise. He affirmed the strong market demand for their product and the need for a partner to better serve the industry they passionately serve.
“After many months of careful research and vetting, we decided that Mainsail was perfectly aligned with our mission to serve manufacturing companies and their communities,” Van Metre shared, adding that “We’re doubling down on our commitment to this industry.”
As a part of this funding round, Mainsail’s Anthony Hayes, Vice President, and Jason Frankel, Partner, will join the ProShop Board of Directors, bringing valuable experience to the table.
Frankel acknowledged the strength of ProShop’s customer-centric ethos.
“We have known the ProShop team for a long time and have always been impressed with their relentless focus on the needs of their customers,” he said.
With offices in Vancouver, BC, and Bellingham, Washington, ProShop ERP offers dedicated management software built by manufacturers for manufacturers.
For 20 years, Mainsail has helped management teams navigate challenges and opportunities associated with scaling a software company. The firm has raised over $2.2 billion in committed capital and invested in more than 70 companies.
