Hot on the heels of the huge sustainability announcement by Walmart, a groundbreaking collaboration called the National Wash Network has launched and Vancouver’s own ShareWares is leading the way.
Launched with other reuse companies in major cities across Canada, the National Wash Network is an initiative that establishes an infrastructure to support reusable food packaging programs from coast to coast.
To accelerate the adoption of reusable packaging programs, the National Wash Network offers solutions adapted to the realities of food service operations for cost-effective implementation across major metropolitan hubs nationwide.
At the heart of the National Wash Network is a network of commercial wash facilities and logistics providers spanning major metropolitan areas across Canada. By decentralizing collection and warewashing through local partnerships, the network is charting a course toward a society designed for a circular economy.
This helps empower local & national food service brands to transition from disposable packaging to embracing reusable alternatives.
“Our mission is to propel the rapid transformation of cities into sustainable zero-waste hubs. The National Wash Network is the catalyst that not only unlocks the necessary scaling infrastructure for national brands to embrace reusable packaging, but also accelerates the development of circular economy innovation across Canada,” shared Cody Irwin, Founder & CEO at ShareWares.
ShareWares, Earthware, Muuse, and Bopaq are the pioneers supporting the launch of the National Wash Network, spanning from the West to the East, reflecting a united commitment to sustainable practices.
