Elevated Signals Raises Series A Round to Innovate Manufacturing Industry

February 27, 2024 by Knowlton Thomas Leave a Comment

A Vancouver-based technology startup innovating the manufacturing industry revealed this week that it has raised nearly $8 million in capital to write a new chapter of expansion.

Elevated Signals today announced $7.9M in funding through a Series A round led by Yaletown Partners.

Third Kind Venture Capital, WGD Capital, Colin Harris, Raiven Capital, and Pareto Holdings also participated in the round.

Elevated Signals’ manufacturing tech serves a growing list of sectors, ranging from controlled environment agriculture to natural health product manufacturing and critical minerals recovery.

Cofounder Amar Singh says that the influx of capital “will fuel our expansion as we diversify the industries we serve with a focus on high-growth and tech-forward manufacturing businesses, especially those driving progress in food, energy, health, and beyond.”

Elevated Signals’ cloud-based platform automates the capture of real-time manufacturing data, providing a “unified source of truth that is accessible company-wide.”

“Traditional ERP systems are often too rigid for modern and complex manufacturing operations, which can force reliance on paper and spreadsheets, limiting access to operational data and ultimately hurting profitability,” says Singh, CEO.

“We learned quickly that ease of deployment and the ability to support diverse processes was a top priority for our customers,” adds Hardeep Shoker, cofounder of Elevated Signals.

“Being able to quickly unlock access to manufacturing data, costs, and records makes it possible to optimize operations, better manage product quality, and gain a clear financial picture,” the COO said.

Hans Knapp, cofounder of Yaletown Partners, believes that the BC upstart is “solving a real problem for its customers and is aligned with larger trends in the market.”

“We look forward to working closely with the company to continue to accelerate its growth,” Knapp stated.

In 2023, Elevated Signals increased its workforce by 30%.

In 2022, the firm was a finalist for Excellence in Technology Innovation at the 29th annual Technology Impact Awards.

Elevated Signals was established in 2016.
