Following a summer that included a historic round of funding, being named to the Forbes’ 2024 Cloud 100 list, and becoming a jersey sponsor of their hometown Canucks, Burnaby-based legaltech pioneer Clio is on the verge of hosting another Clio Cloud Conference.
Regarded as the world’s top legal conference, ClioCon will take place on October 7-8 in Austin, Texas.
The jam-packed two day agenda includes four keynotes, starting with Clio CEO Jack Newton opening the conference.
Newton was named one of the Most Exceptional Entrepreneurs of 2022 by Goldman Sachs and is the author of The Client-Centered Law Firm, a #1 bestseller helping law firms thrive in today’s client-driven era.
The first day of the ClioCon concludes with a keynote from Judge Victoria Pratt. Pratt is celebrated for her radically respectful and highly effective approach to community and jurisprudence. She connects with audiences on how to leverage the principles highlighted in her book, The Power of Dignity.
Day two kicks off with a dose of AI with Nita Farahany presenting ChatGPT and Your Brain: Changing How We Think About Thinking.
In this talk, Farahany will delve into the essence of thinking freely, spotlighting human relational intelligence, mental agility, and “interoception” in the context of generative AI’s immense potential and its inherent challenges.
CioCon wraps up with bestselling author James Clear. Clear is an acclaimed author and speaker renowned for his expertise in habits, decision-making, and continuous improvement.
As the author of Atomic Habits: An Easy & Proven Way to Build Good Habits & Break Bad Ones, Clear has become a leading authority on behavior change.
In this entertaining talk, Clear will focus on the science of small habits, how they work, and how their effects compound and multiply over time.
“We are thrilled to welcome James Clear to the ClioCon stage,” said Reagan Attle, Chief Marketing Officer at Clio.
“His expertise in habit formation and continuous improvement aligns perfectly with the needs of legal professionals striving for excellence in their practices. Clear’s insights will undoubtedly inspire attendees to implement positive changes into their firms and achieve their goals.”
