The BC Tech Association hosted its highly anticipated Technology Impact Awards (TIAs) gala this evening at the Parq Vancouver.
The event gathered the province’s most innovative companies, industry leaders, and technology enthusiasts to celebrate the remarkable achievements in British Columbia’s tech sector.
Now in its 31st year, the TIAs serve as an annual event that recognizes the best and brightest in technology innovation. The awards highlight the contributions of startups, scaleups, and established tech companies that drive economic growth and foster a strong sense of community.
During the gala, winners across nine award categories were honored for their excellence in various areas of technology and business.
Jane was named Company of the Year in the Anchor category, while RaceRocks took home the award for Excellence in Company Culture. Oxygen8 was recognized as Company of the Year in the Scale category, and DarkVision received the Gamechanger award for Ambition. Apera was celebrated as Company of the Year in the Growth category, with Daanaa recognized as the top Startup.
Other notable winners included 7Gen, which received the Gamechanger award for Climate Leadership, and YWCA, which was honored for its work in Diversity & Inclusion. TRIUMF earned the Excellence in Industry Innovation award, rounding out an evening of recognition for exceptional companies and their contributions to the tech industry in British Columbia.
