Legaltech leader Clio has named Luke Slan as General Manager, Canada, reinforcing its commitment to expanding its footprint in its home market. In his new role, Slan will lead Clio’s Canadian operations, driving growth and innovation tailored to the country’s legal industry.

The appointment comes as Clio strengthens its cross-functional teams, including product and engineering, sales, marketing, and channel partnerships, to better serve Canadian law firms. The company is also refining its core products to provide legal professionals with more efficient and tailored solutions.

“Luke’s appointment is a clear sign of Clio’s strong commitment to the Canadian legal market,” said Clio’s Chief Operating Officer, Ronnie Gurion. “Canada has always been at the heart of our growth, and with Luke’s expertise and leadership, we’re ready to take things to the next level.”

Slan, a seasoned SaaS executive with over 15 years of experience, has spent the last seven years at Clio, excelling in sales and solutions engineering. His deep understanding of both the legal tech platform and the Canadian legal industry positions him well to lead the company’s expansion efforts.

“Canada is home—both for Clio and for me,” said Slan. “We’re excited to supercharge our efforts to deliver solutions that Canadian firms need to meet the evolving needs of their clients.”

Headquartered in Vancouver, Clio has offices in Calgary and Toronto and has launched Canada-specific products like Clio Payments and Clio Grow. With Slan at the helm, the company aims to set a new standard in legal technology, enhancing productivity and client service for law firms across the country.
