British Columbia’s strongest workplaces were celebrated this week as BC’s Top Employers (2025) were announced by Mediacorp, the organization behind the national Canada’s Top 100 Employers project.
The annual competition highlights companies that set the standard for innovation, employee well-being, and sustainability in the province’s fast-growing economy.
With Canada’s highest provincial credit rating, strongest economic growth, and one of North America’s fastest-growing low-carbon economies, British Columbia is leading the way in both business and environmental responsibility. Employers in the province are reinforcing this leadership by fostering workplaces that align with evolving employee values.
“British Columbia has always been one of the most progressive regions in the country in terms of benefits, flexibility, and forward-thinking environmental policies—and this year’s winners are no exception,” said Richard Yerema, executive editor of Canada’s Top 100 Employers project.
“The province is home to many fearless, progressive organizations that push the boundaries and stand out from the crowd, attracting new employees from across BC and throughout Canada.”
Among this year’s top employers are Boomi, BC Pension Corporation, Copperleaf, and Trulioo (pictured above), each recognized for their commitment to workplace excellence.
Boomi, a leader in cloud integration, fosters an inclusive and flexible work environment. BC Pension Corporation provides employees with strong benefits and professional development opportunities.
Copperleaf, known for its AI-driven decision analytics, stands out for its emphasis on innovation and employee well-being. Trulioo, a global identity verification company, prioritizes diversity, equity, and career growth.
Now in its 20th year, BC’s Top Employers is a special designation that evaluates organizations based on eight consistent criteria, including workplace culture, benefits, vacation policies, employee development, and community involvement.
The selection process offers transparency by publishing detailed reasons for each employer’s inclusion, providing valuable insights for both job seekers and businesses.
Binary Stream was also the BC Top Employer. Not sure why there is no mention.
