Vancouver-based legaltech Clio has pledged $3 million to the University of British Columbia’s Sauder School of Business to support entrepreneurship and innovation.
The donation, one of the largest contributions to UBC Sauder’s Powerhouse Project, will help create a dedicated space for students, faculty, and industry leaders to collaborate on new ventures. The space will also serve as the formal home of the Creative Destruction Lab – Vancouver (CDL-Vancouver), an accelerator for seed-stage science and technology companies.
“UBC Sauder is a catalyst for world-class talent,” said Clio CEO and Co-founder Jack Newton. “This space will connect ambitious students, entrepreneurs, and industry leaders, sparking game-changing ideas.”
