Jane Appoints Chief Marketing Officer to ‘Spearhead Next Phase of Growth’

February 28, 2025 by Knowlton Thomas Leave a Comment

Jane Software has announced the addition of a new Chief Marketing Officer.

The North Vancouver-born clinic management software company has revealed that Dan Davidow will now head marketing for Jane.

Davidow’s move to Jane follows roles at Stripe, Gusto, Cisco, and Motive.

At Jane, Davidow will “spearhead Jane’s next phase of growth,” according to a statement from the B.C. firm.

“We’re absolutely thrilled to have Dan join us on our mission at Jane,” commented cofounder Ali Taylor.

“His track record of building high-growth brands through both customer focus and data-centricity perfectly aligns with our vision,” Taylor continued. “Dan knows how to make a lasting impact, and we can’t wait to see how he’ll help us advance our platform for health and wellness practitioners everywhere.”

Davidow believes he is joining at a “pivotal time” for the Canadian company.

Earlier this month, Jane revealed Howard Spector, cofounder of California’s SimplePractice, as an advisor and partner to the firm.

Spector met Jane cofounders Taylor and Trevor Johnston through mutual connection. Moving forward, as Taylor and Johnston seek to expand Jane’s services further into the US market, they will be tapping into Spector’s knowledge and expertise for help.

“I’m excited to help Jane grow in the US and continue on their path while they deliver exceptional value to folks,” Spector’s stated recently.

As for Davidow, he says his role as CMO will consist of “amplifying [the] story” that Jane has built over the past decade as the firm pursues new avenues of growth in the future.

“Jane has already established a strong reputation for its innovative, customer-focused platform,” he stated. “My priorities will be building a compelling brand, scaling our marketing efforts, supporting our high-performing team, and ensuring our growth plans align with Jane’s long-term vision to be the go-to platform for small-business health care practitioners globally.”

More than 190,000 practitioners and 70,000 clinic support staff across a variety of non-primary care specialties today rely on Jane as they run and grow their practices.

Jane made Deloitte Canada’s Enterprise Fast 15 in 2024.

The company was established in 2012.
