Competitive intelligence platform Klue has acquired Goldpan, a stealth-mode leader in AI-powered win-loss research, in a move set to enhance Klue’s capabilities in competitive and buyer insights.
Goldpan’s specialized AI tools—including automated interviewers, data extraction, and analysis technologies—will be integrated into Klue’s platform, enabling deeper and more scalable win-loss research. The acquisition accelerates Klue’s AI-first strategy, combining human-led interviews with AI-driven insights to provide broader competitive coverage at scale.
Klue CEO & Co-founder Jason Smith welcomed Goldpan’s team, calling their expertise and vision crucial to the company’s mission of redefining competitive and market intelligence. Customers can expect significant AI-driven upgrades across Klue’s Compete and Win-Loss products in the near future.
“What makes Goldpan unique is that they’re product builders who’ve spent years in the trenches doing win-loss work, creating products that solve their own problems,” said Smith.
“The caliber of their team and technology is exceptional, and their vision for AI in this space is years ahead of the market.”
Klue was named to the Deloitte Technology Fast 50 in 2024, boasting a three-year growth rate of 667%, a milestone fuelled in part by its $62 million Series B round led by Tiger Global in 2021.
