UniUni this week announced a partnership with Shipium, a shipping technology platform for e-commerce brands.
The collaboration allows brands to access UniUni’s services through Shipium’s centralized carrier network, according to a statement from the firms.
By joining Shipium’s carrier network and integrating last-mile delivery solutions into Shipium’s cloud-based platform provides, UniUni expands access to end-to-end shipping solutions for enterprise, retail, and e-commerce entities.
“This partnership with Shipium is all about making last-mile delivery better, smarter, faster, and more affordable,” stated Peter Lu, cofounder of UniUni.
“By working together, we’re giving brands the flexibility and reliability they need to address their unique logistics needs while keeping up with customer expectations,” the chief executive officer added.
Launched in 2019, UniUni has near total coverage of Canada and is rapidly expanding south of the border to achieve a similar milestone in the US, with high-capacity sorting centres already serving 30 cities including Dallas, Los Angeles, Miami, New Jersey, New York, and San Francisco.

Shipium’s platform optimizes execution and operations, helping carriers improve delivery speed and customer experience through a collection of solutions that orchestrate workflows across a shipper’s current systems, data, and network. The system leverages “one of the most sophisticated intelligence layers in logistics,” according to the company, utilizing nearly two dozen dynamic artificial intelligence and machine learning models.
“UniUni’s massive momentum has driven an increase in customer demand within our network, and is a clear sign of the industry’s appetite for innovation, flexibility, and affordability,” commented Jason Murray, CEO of Shipium.
“By adding UniUni to our pre-integrated carrier network, we’re providing enterprise shippers with more options and greater convenience across North America,” he said.
Richmond’s UniUni is one of Canada’s fastest growing companies. The B.C. upstart recently raised over US$100M in just 12 months.
Last month, UniUni acquired Toronto’s Shippie, a regional shipping provider. Shippie’s CEO Jax Zheng joined UniUni as Director of Strategic Partnerships.
