Vancouver’s Pavilion Cowork is growing again, with a brand-new location opening this summer in the heart of downtown.
The premium coworking provider will launch a 5,500-square-foot space at 564 Beatty Street, featuring 18 private offices, 16 dedicated desks, and two meeting rooms—all surrounded by floor-to-ceiling windows and some of the city’s best dining.
This marks Pavilion’s third Vancouver location and comes in response to surging demand at its two Mount Pleasant hubs, both of which have consistently operated at full capacity.
“We’ve seen firsthand how the right space can spark ideas, partnerships, and real growth,” said Herman Kwee, President of Alabaster Homes, Pavilion’s parent company. “With this expansion, we’re doubling down on our commitment to Canadian entrepreneurs, giving them the space and support to build something great.”
The Beatty Street opening is part of Pavilion’s broader expansion strategy, which also includes a major move into Alberta. This fall, Pavilion will debut a 14,906-square-foot coworking hub in Calgary’s downtown core at 550 6th Avenue SW. The Calgary location will offer 47 private offices and four meeting rooms, with direct connections to the Plus 15 skywalk and CRT transit line.
Pavilion is also relaunching its popular Residency Program, which provides free office space for promising Canadian startups. This year’s program will offer eight free offices—three in Vancouver and five in Calgary—for a four-month term. Applications are open until May 15 for Vancouver and July 31 for Calgary, with winners selected based on innovation, resilience, and community impact.
Founded in 2019, Pavilion is known for its thoughtful design, community-driven programming, and focus on supporting early-stage businesses. A sister company to Alabaster Homes, Pavilion continues to redefine what coworking can look like in Canada’s growing innovation hubs.
