One of the city’s most anticipated tech events is just around the corner. Vancouver Startup Week (VSW) 2025 is set to return this May, bringing together entrepreneurs, investors, and ecosystem builders for a high-energy week of networking, learning, and deal-making.
With just over a month to go, organizers are already reporting a surge in ticket sales, including early bird passes priced at $145 and $200 for a pair under the Buddy Pass program.
Now in its 11th year, VSW continues to serve as the heartbeat of British Columbia’s startup scene. This year’s edition kicks off with the Ecosystem Showcase and Opening Reception, where the full breadth of the local innovation community—from founders and accelerators to seasoned CEOs—will gather to celebrate the week ahead.
The opening night will also feature the Startup TNT BC Summit XI Finale, where finalists will vie for a potential $150,000+ investment.
The week-long celebration promises a jam-packed agenda:
-
Networking socials hosted by Vancouver Tech Journal, CBRE, and CITI will give attendees the chance to meet future collaborators in a relaxed, very Vancouver atmosphere—hoodies welcome.
-
Panel talks and fireside chats will feature battle-tested startup leaders sharing war stories and growth insights, with support from major partners including RBCx, Osler, Futurpreneur, and Web Summit.
-
Investor panels will provide a candid look into what funders are really looking for in today’s economic climate.
-
Hands-on workshops—led by NVBC, Innovate BC, Two Ravens VC and others—will cover everything from pitch preparation to intellectual property protection.
“VSW 2025 is not just a conference—it’s a launchpad,” organizers said in a statement. “We’re here to help local startups make global moves.”
The full schedule drops May 1, but with buzz already building, organizers recommend grabbing tickets early.
