As the global tech community gears up for Web Summit Vancouver, a fresh spotlight is landing on Canada’s startup scene.
On May 27th, TechTO, Panache Ventures, and N49P are teaming up to host the first-ever Vancouver Demo Day—a high-energy celebration of Canadian innovation happening at Good Co. Granville from 4:00pm to 9:00pm. The event kicks off what organizers hope will grow into a nationwide series that puts a spotlight on homegrown tech talent.
But this isn’t your typical pitch competition.
There are no judges. No scorecards. No pressure. Instead, founders will share real stories about building momentum—whether it’s early wins, big pivots, or meaningful problems they’re solving. The goal? Spark authentic conversations with the people who can help take them to the next level.
The presenting startups—handpicked by leading VC firms and the local startup community—represent a mix of stages and sectors. What they all have in common is serious traction.
Backing the event are some of Canada’s most active early-stage investors, including Version One, Inovia, Framework, Relay Ventures, Rhino Ventures, LOI Venture, Active Impact Investments, Pender Ventures, and, of course, Panache Ventures and N49P.
The night will wrap with a lively social gathering bringing together 300+ founders, investors, and tech leaders. It’s designed to fuel real connection and collaboration—no elevator pitches required.
With Web Summit just around the corner, Vancouver Demo Day is already shaping up to be one of the hottest side events on the city’s startup calendar—putting Canadian founders front and centre.
