Following a successful pilot phase, mental health tech startup HiBoop is launching the beta version of its assessment platform to healthcare providers across Canada.
The platform, which offers self-guided, evidence-based mental health assessments, is now available for early access by clinics nationwide. Built to reduce intake time and enhance clinical insight, HiBoop delivers algorithm-generated reports that screen for conditions such as anxiety, ADHD, depression, substance abuse, and dissociation—before the first appointment.
“The pilot proved that there’s a real need for HiBoop, and it works,” said Jason Morehouse, CEO of HiBoop. “Clinics saved time, clients felt heard, and the feedback was clear – we’re filling a gap in the system. This launch is about building on that momentum and getting the platform into the hands of more people who need it.”

Clinics participating in the pilot reported improved efficiency and more targeted care planning. By allowing patients to complete assessments independently, HiBoop equips clinicians with a comprehensive overview of symptoms and flags potential comorbid conditions using machine learning.
“HiBoop has exceeded our expectations with their professionalism and seamless collaboration,” said the Clinical Leadership Team at Canadian Addiction Treatment Centres. “HiBoop addresses a real need in our clinical workflows – helping us streamline processes, improve decision-making, and better support our clients.”
Developed in collaboration with clinicians and tested across a variety of healthcare settings, the platform’s design reflects real-world demands from both mental health and addiction recovery centres.
With its national beta rollout, Victoria’s HiBoop aims to bring scalable, tech-enabled mental health support to more providers and patients across the country.
