Vancouver-based AI automation startup Quandri is kicking off a major hiring push as it accelerates product development and deepens its investment in artificial intelligence.
The company plans to add more than 40 new roles in 2025 and will expand its Vancouver presence with a 15,000-square-foot office opening later this summer.
The hiring spree is part of Quandri’s broader strategy to scale its engineering capabilities and solidify its position as the category-defining AI platform for insurance brokerages.
As part of this growth, Quandri has appointed Heather Natour as its new Vice President of Engineering. Natour brings over 20 years of experience leading and scaling high-performing technical teams at top-tier companies including Opendoor, Lyft, Capital One, and Blackboard.

“Heather’s track record is exceptional; she’s delivered real results at top companies in the Bay Area, and has built high-impact, mission-driven teams,” said Jackson Fregeau, CEO and co-founder of Quandri. “Her leadership will be instrumental in helping us move faster and smarter and go deeper on addressing the problems faced by our customers. She will also deliver on our plan to double our engineering organization over the next six months.”
Quandri builds AI-powered automation tools that streamline personal lines insurance renewals for brokerages—reducing manual workloads and unlocking growth.
As VP of Engineering, Natour will oversee platform architecture, infrastructure, security, and product delivery. She will focus on building a high-performing team, accelerating product velocity, and ensuring engineering plays a central role in innovation, efficiency, and revenue impact.
“Quandri is building something truly meaningful for an underserved industry,” said Natour. “This team has such strong values and momentum, and I look forward to building on that by scaling the engineering function and continuing to deliver solutions that create real value for our customers.”
Named one of LinkedIn’s Top Canadian Startups and one of ten homegrown startups to watch in 2024, Quandri is continuing to scale rapidly—and its latest expansion signals more milestones to come.
