Vancouver’s GenXys has secured a customer deal with Indiana-based TrueScripts, a thriving pharmacist-founded Prescription Benefit Management (PBM) company.
GenXys is a global leader in precision prescribing software with embedded pharmacogenetic (PGx) data.
TrueScripts Management Services is an innovative PBM company offering transparent prescription benefit solutions to members and clients in the self-insured market.
With a network of 70,000 pharmacies across the USA, a growing client/member base, and a unique set of program offerings, TrueScripts is a flourishing company offering a highly-requested PGx plan as a clinical value-add to members.
The partnership will enable the use of the GenXys platform to provide evidence based clinical guidance including knowledge in genomics to support the expansion of pharmacogenetics for TrueScripts.
TrueScripts will now be able to integrate GenXys’ award-winning Clinical Decision Support System (CDSS), incorporating PGx with other patient data points through embedded translation and interpretation in their clinical workflow.
This will lead to better health outcomes and the ability to utilize PGx in patient care in a seamless, streamlined process through evidence-based precision prescribing options.
“This partnership is a significant step forward for GenXys,” says Karl Pringle, CEO of GenXys.
“PGx is an important part of the prescribing puzzle and needs to be more widely included in prescribing decisions to offer personalized, safe, and appropriate medication options at any point of care. When integrated into smart algorithms with other patient data points, leading companies like TrueScripts can offer proactive healthcare, delivering precision medicine to everyone and level up healthcare inequality.”
