With an impending recession and continued global political instability, 2023 looks to be a challenging time for startups to be raising funding.
But it’s not all bad.
If you peel back the surface and look deeper, there’s a huge amount of “dry powder” in VC funds waiting to be deployed. Valuations are more realistic and quality talent is easier to hire.
The Asian Canadian Ventures Collective (ACVC) is hosting a panel on January 18th at the BCIT Downtown Campus featuring a roster of leading local VC’s sitting on ~$2 billion in assets under management.
