BC’s largest and longest-running tech competition is now in its 23rd year and searching for BC’s best new tech startups.
This year New Ventures BC (NVBC) is giving away over $250,000 in non-dilutive cash and prizes to the most promising tech ventures across the province.
The NVBC competition combines five critical resources—Education, Mentorship, Networking, Feedback, and Recognition—to give startups the ultimate launchpad for success.
As part of this commitment of resources, NVBC hosts the Startup Seminar Series covering key startup topics such as pricing for innovation, managing Intellectual Property, and corporate structure.
The first event, Building a Fundable Startup: What Founders Need to Know, takes place on March 28th at TELUS Garden.
Based on the principles of TiE Incubation Lab, the free seminar will be presented by TiE’s Maninder Dhaliwal and cover how to increase your chances of raising at a higher pre-money valuation to raise more, raise at a lower dilution, and raise faster.
