A public digital health company focused on impacting patient outcomes by leveraging AI and other technology to empower providers this week unveiled a collaboration with Canucks Sports & Entertainment.
The Vancouver Canucks selected WELL Health Technologies to be the Official Medical Services Provider to the team, according to a statement issued by WELL. Moving forward, the Canucks will utilize the WELL Health Medical & Longevity Centre, which is a part of WELL’s Health Clinic Network.
The Longevity Centre is a medical clinic specializing in advanced diagnostic imaging and molecular biomarker testing. With high technology and a team of expert physicians and radiologists, the Centre is dedicated to providing top-tier health assessments and treatments, delivering comprehensive care that supports the promotion of overall long-term health and wellness.
As the Official Medical Services Provider of the Vancouver Canucks, WELL is now a part of the Canucks team, providing diagnostic imaging, sports cardiology, and pain management services designed to enhance athlete performance.
“We are honoured to be an extension of the Vancouver Canucks medical team and to support the health and performance of the players, coaches and management,” stated Vince Danielsen, Senior Director of Preventative Health at WELL. “It is a privilege to team up with the Canucks and be aligned with an organization that gives so much to the health of our community.”
The Longevity Centre will also offer the WELL Longevity+ program to the Vancouver Canucks and Canucks Sports & Entertainment coaches, players, and management. The Longevity+ Program goes beyond traditional medical services by delivering advanced preventative care.
And in addition, WELL will be extending offers to President’s Club, Premium Suite, and Club Seat Members by providing Canucks Premium Members with Longevity+.
“We are so excited to announce that WELL will be our Official Medical Services Provider and the title sponsor of our new President’s Club,” stated Michael Doyle, President of Business Operations for Canucks Sports & Entertainment.
“With an absolute focus on creating a premium hosting experience, the WELL Health President’s Club will be the most exclusive and unique hosting space in the city,” Doyle believes.
Currently, WELL’s solutions empower 33,000 healthcare providers across North America.
The company, named a Life Sciences BC Company of the Year for 2023, is publicly traded on the Toronto Stock Exchange under the symbol WELL.
