Foresight Canada suggests that, amid shifting trade policies creating challenges for companies across the country, it has never been more critical for smaller businesses to adapt supply chains and expand into new markets.
The organization’s Cleantech Export Venture Program is four weeks of fast-track curriculum designed to equip cleantech ventures with the knowledge and tools needed to identify and enter new markets, mitigating supply chain risks while accelerating growth, according to a statement from Foresight.
Foresight’s Export Venture Program includes weekly readings, videos, and exercises on top of four deep-dive sessions with cohort members with expert support and mentoring along the way.
The Winter 2026 cohort has been revealed, and British Columbia dominates the list of 12 innovators.

TreeTrack Intelligence, founded in 2022 in Port Coquitlam, specializes in reforestation by using drones to deploy proprietary seedpods for ecosystem restoration in areas affected by wildfires or erosion, aiming to reduce carbon emissions and enhance biodiversity.
Lite-1, founded in 2021 in Vancouver, develops sustainable colourants grown from microorganisms in a closed-loop system, providing an alternative to toxic synthetic dyes used in industry.
RZOLV Technologies, founded in 2022 in Vancouver, has developed a non-toxic, water-based reagent for gold and critical mineral extraction, serving as a cyanide-free alternative in mining to promote more environmentally sustainable recovery processes.
AlgaFilm Technologies, founded in 2023 in North Vancouver, provides wastewater treatment solutions using algae-based “forests” to remove nutrients and capture CO2 directly from the air, offering a climate-friendly approach to water purification.
PINA CREATION, founded in 2023 in Burnaby, develops advanced metal oxide nanoparticle inks for printed electronics, enabling low-temperature, flexible manufacturing of electronic components in an eco-friendly manner.
SDG Advisory Group offers services focused on supply chain decarbonization, using a data-driven platform called InScope to help enterprises prioritize suppliers for emissions reduction and operational savings.
