Toronto-born mobile food pickup app Ritual is coming to Vancouver.
Ritual provides restaurants with turnkey mobile ordering technology, giving consumers a convenient solution to discover, order and pick up their meals – specifically for coffee and lunch orders.
Last week the Toronto startup announced it has expanded internationally into London and Sydney and plans for expansion into Europe.
As part of the announcement Ritual will also be in more than 40 North American cities and aims to more than triple its restaurant count by the end of 2019. Included in those plans are Canadian cities, Vancouver, Calgary, Ottawa, Montreal and Edmonton.
Since launching in Toronto in 2014, and in the United States in 2017, Ritual has developed a robust and scalable platform providing convenience, value and choice to both consumers and restaurants.
Ritual has experienced exponential growth, first crossing over a million orders in less than two years and now processing over a million orders in under two months.
To celebrate city launches nationwide, Ritual will be hosting week-long Ritual Food Festivals, the equivalent of Restaurant Week but for takeout restaurants, which allow users to sample and discover the best of their neighborhood at a special price.
Stay tuned for more information about Ritual’s Vancouver launch.
