You might need $1 million to grow your business, or $150,000.
What matters is that you want to grow your business, and need help to craft your pitch. That’s where the Forum for Women Entrepreneurs (FWE) comes in.
FWE has designed Pitch for the Purse to address a key concern facing women entrepreneurs… access to capital.
The Pitch for the Purse program is divided into four sections designed to educate and mentor every step of the way: pitch training, the semi-finals, mentorship and the pitch finale.
Past winners of Pitch for the Purse include Tara Bosch of SmartSweets, Nicole Smith of Flytographer, and Sonia Strobel of Skipper Otto.
This year’s Pitch for the Purse semi-Finals are in Toronto on November 13, 2019 and Vancouver on November 21, 2019 with the finale taking place in Vancouver on February 20, 2020.
Applying is easy. Simply create a 30 second pitch video with these details, upload it to YouTube, and complete the application form online. The application deadline is September 20, 2019.
