Curatio Networks won a $250,000 investment from Connecticut Innovations at last week’s VentureClash pitch event at Yale University.
The Vancouver-based startup has built a mobile platform that matches patients to others who understand what they’re going through in a private, secure environment.
Using a unique combination of matchmaking algorithms, AI and machine learning, Curatio is the only privacy and regulatory compliant social platform designed specifically for healthcare.
The rapidly growing social health tool, which is now in 85+ countries and 4 languages, was selected from a panel of prominent judges, from more than 300 companies worldwide and narrowed down to one of 8 winning organizations at this year’s event.
“We are thrilled to have won this investment from this prestigious program, which will allow us to further establish our presence in the United States and support our mission to ensure no patient is alone on their health journey” said Curatio Founder and CEO Lynda Brown-Ganzert.
