entrepreneurship@UBC is collaborating with Global Impact Accelerator Spring to deliver their 2020 Social Venture Incubator program.
The Social Venture Incubator program backs UBC founders with solutions to some of the world’s most prolific social, environmental and economic problems. The program cultivates social ventures from ideation to market, providing a unique opportunity for startups to create their venture with impact at the helm.
As a world-renowned, top-tier university, UBC ventures have a proven track record of solving problems, with alumni of entrepreneurship@UBC including Aspect Biosystems, AVA and ChopValue.
The 2020 Social Venture Incubator program will be delivered in collaboration with Spring, a global impact incubator, accelerator and advisory firm that helps entrepreneurs and entrepreneurial ecosystem builders thrive. This collaboration leverages the expertise of both organizations providing first class programming that allows ventures to build businesses rooted in impact and global sustainability.
“entrepreneurship@UBC is thrilled to work with Spring to deliver the 2020 Social Venture Incubator program. As leaders in the social impact space, we look forward to collaboratively supporting ventures that will transform the future of our global economy, while also strengthening Vancouver’s own dynamic network of innovation,” shared Kari LaMotte, Managing Director, entrepreneurship@UBC.
The 2020 Social Venture Incubator cohort will be announced later this month.
