Tech Talent Canada will be hosting their first virtual Vancouver job fair on October 21st and they’ve announced the preliminary lineup of organizations that will be participating.
Among the companies recruiting at the event is San Francisco-headquartered and newly publicly-traded Unity Technologies.
The world’s leading platform for creating and operating interactive, real-time 3D (RT3D) content, Unity acquired Port Coquitlam’s Finger Food Advanced Technology Group earlier this year.
Founded in 2009, Finger Food uses artificial intelligence, augmented and virtual reality and robotics to solve complex business problems for some of the world’s leading companies.
Joining Unity at the October 21st online event will be Benevity, East Side Games, Mastercard, Rogers, Shaw, SkipTheDishes, Thinkific, Trulioo, Unbounce, and more.
Tech Talent Canada’s virtual job fairs replicate the experience of their in-person events with the participating companies pitching the audience on why you should consider working for them. The hiring companies will also have virtual exhibit booths where they can interact with attendees.
For attendees that are interested in moving to Canada to pursue a career in tech, Global Talent Accelerator will be available to answer questions on Vancouver job opportunities and relocation.
And if you’re open to relocating, Calgary Economic Development will be attending the event to showcase Calgary’s growing tech ecosystem and the opportunities available in many of the city’s game-changing companies
