Vancouver’s NuData Security has been awarded the North American Cybersecurity Service Provider of the Year by the Cybersecurity Excellence Awards.
Acquired in 2017, NuData Security is a Mastercard company.
Last year Mastercard announced that it would invest $510 million into its global technology centre in Vancouver, creating 270 jobs by 2029. The Vancouver office is currently home to the 100 employees from the NuData Security team with added members from Mastercard’s Research & Development, Operations & Technology, and Cyber & Intelligence divisions.
The North American Cybersecurity Service Provider of the Year award demonstrates NuData’s continued dedication to innovation and helping create a more secure online space for end-users and businesses alike. NuData won awards in six other categories as well.
“This award reaffirms our mission in providing secure environments without compromising user experiences,” said Michelle Hafner, SVP at NuData. “We’re extremely proud of our bot defense and fraud protection technologies. As the digital landscape continues to evolve, we look forward to advancing digital trust within the industry through our robust technology to provide users with the support and security they need.”
