Giving Tuesday is on November 30th and Vancouver’s Geenees is ready to make its mark.
The social gifting platform has launched a campaign to raise over $150,000 in donations to help support its 160+ wishlists of registered nonprofit organizations and their families.
Geenees is changing the way people give for the better by simplifying the donation process so that nonprofit organizations can focus their time and resources on their community and core initiatives.
Driven by its core values of trust, community, and impact, Geenees gives 100% of the donation to the family in need in the form of a product or service they truly need. With over 3,000+ wishes on the platform, donors can contribute even the smallest amount towards a meaningful item for families in need.
“As we adapt to the new reality of our society, we have to think about innovative ways to support each other. We created Geenees as a new way of giving in-kind donations, necessities and services, to those who need it most.” Libi Berenson, Co-founder & CEO, Geenees.
Geenees introduces an efficient way to give back with a click of a button—empowering all donors to feel the impact of their donations and even receive a thank you note from the gift receiver.
Individuals and corporations interested in donating to this campaign can visit geenees.co or download the Geenees app through the Apple Store or Google Play to make their donation.
Geenees was co-founded by Libi Berenson, an immigrant and female entrepreneur, and includes a team of passionate individuals committed to changing the way we give back.
The startup was chosen as Top 12 at Pitch for the Purse 2020, Top 20 at the Impact Investor Challenge of Campbell River and Top 26 at the 2021 New Ventures BC Competition.
