The average price of a used car in Canada has jumped nearly 50 per cent as brick-and-mortar dealerships struggle to maintain inventories due to the global chip shortage. This has opened it up for a new direct-to-consumer class of dealerships to stake their claim–online car dealerships.
This week Canada Drives increased its lead as Canada’s largest 100% online car shopping and to-your-door delivery platform by launching into its fourth province, Saskatchewan.
With this expansion, Canada Drives is now available to over 25 million Canadians or 70% of the country, servicing B.C., Alberta, Saskatchewan, and Ontario.
“We’ve built the trust of thousands of Canadians and have proven that Canada Drives’ exceptional service and the quality of inventory have fundamentally improved the car buying experience,” says Founder and Co-CEO of Canada Drives, Cody Green. “The expansion into Saskatchewan is the next step towards our goal to offer a streamlined and stress-free end-to-end experience to Canadians Coast to Coast.”
The company has also seen incredible growth in sales with a 580% increase in just one year (Q1 2022 vs. Q1 2021). Helping fuel this growth is the company’s rapidly expanding inventory which has tripled from 700 available vehicles in Q1 2021 to 2,500+ in Q2 2022.
Last month Canada Drives launched their newest feature, Sell My Car. The feature allows customers to submit their vehicle’s information in minutes and receive an offer for their vehicle in real-time.
