Begin a Career at Fiercely Independent East Side Games

February 14, 2019 by Techcouver Newsdesk Leave a Comment

Founded in July 2011 by Josh Nilson, Jason Bailey and Galan Akin, East Side Games (ESG) is the independent game studio that was behind Facebook smash hit Pot Farm.

In addition to being fiercely independent, the Vancouver studio is profitable and their games fund all their new projects whether it be the popular Trailer Park Boys: Greasy Money or upcoming release It’s Always Sunny IN Philadelphia: The Gang Goes Mobile.

They’re home to a dedicated, collaborative team with a passion for crafting quirky, highly creative social and mobile games.  And it’s this culture that has everyone who works at ESG feeling like they have a direct impact on the studio’s day-to-day business.

Purpose-built technology infrastructure powers their rapid, iterative prototyping, based directly on audience feedback. This allows ESG to take design ideas to playable releases in days rather than months.

If you are looking for an innovative, fast-paced environment where your work makes a difference, ESG is currently hiring Technical Directors, Community Representatives, DevOps, Writers, and more.

Speaking of which, you can meet ESG in-person at the #BCTECHSummit Job Fair on March 12th at the Vancouver Convention Centre to learn more. Purchase a ticket below.
