Vision Critical announced today that it has appointed Ross Wainwright as their new Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and Riaz Raihan as President of Products.
CEO Scott Miller has stepped down and remains on the Vision Critical Board of Directors where Wainwright will also take a seat.
Since Vision Critical’s capital restructuring in 2017, Miller successfully transformed the business focusing it on the rapidly growing Customer Experience Management (CXM) sector, transforming the customer base and bringing the company to positive cash flow.
According to today’s announcement, Wainwright will bring his vast experience in scaling SaaS businesses as Vision Critical enters its next phase of growth.
Wainwright has 30 years of global enterprise technology experience and comes to Vision Critical from global networking and services provider Dimension Data/NTT, where he led the Americas region as CEO.
Raihan comes to Vision Critical from Cisco where he served as the Global GM for the Internet of Things (IoT) business unit, leading a team of 1,200 engineers, architects and product managers.
Both Ross and Riaz have spent the bulk of their careers in Silicon Valley and major US cities, but they’re native Torontonians who will now return home to lead Vision Critical as it approaches its next phase of growth in the CXM space.
Vancouver-born Vision Critical was founded by Andrew Reid in 2000. Four years later his father, pollster Angus Reid joined the company.
